TPC Harry Moose has teamed up with The Disabled Golf Society and is pleased to announce or first ever Disabled Golf Tournament. The Disabled Golf Tournament is a three day pan-disability amateur golf tournament,
it offers golfers with a wide range of disabilities the opportunity to
compete against each other according to their golf handicaps. The tournament is designed to add development and strengthening of friendly relations and understanding between disabled golfers.
Businesses and organizations are invited to become corporate sponsors for the tournaments by purchasing one of three levels of commitment: Platinum Level for $5,000; the Gold Level for $3,000; or the Silver Level for $2,000. Each sponsor receives special recognition from the association that can include a plaque, a tournament windbreaker, and the chance to play a round of golf with one of the participants. The tournament proceeds will be donated to charities that help with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy and post-polio, as well as in-home physical therapy.
In preparation for our golf tournament we will have rooms booked at two hotels in the Miami area, so that our tournament players can feel like a pro. At the end of each round a meal will be provided to all participants on our second floor, in the special events room. After the third and final round of play is complete, an awards banquet will be held were all participants will receive a certificate for taking part in our tournament and those who have won their respective flights will receive a trophy showcasing their accomplishments.
