Mission
At TPC Harry Moose we are committed to providing guests with a family friendly golf experience . We value each costumer’s wants and needs and continuously try to accommodate them. We believe in promoting the game of golf and its services to all who would like to enjoy the game.
Products
Core Product
The core product of the TPC Harry Moose is 18 holes of golf.
Core Product Extensions
Along with providing 18 holes of golf we will also offer a variety of other products. In the terms of golf we will have a driving range with pitch and putt course along with a practice putting green. We also have indoor nets and training lessons with our golf pro. Cart rental is another big extension of our core product.
Another product extension is the sale of equipment and apparel. We will sell all different brands of polos, shorts, pants and shoes. We also will sell clubs, balls, bags and many more. There also will be clubs to rent.
The final product extension is our food sales. Along with having snack bar sales we also have a bar and grill. The restaurant is located upstairs and also does catering for special events.
Goals
Financial Goals
The main Financial goal is to make a profit of about 25%. This is largely helped out by the many professional tours our course puts on during the year. This profit will go towards paying off our loans quicker and put that money back into the course to keep it one of the best courses in America each and every year.
Participation Goals
We have many goals in terms of participation. We would like our membership rate to grow by 10% each year. We also would like to have 700 rounds of golf played each week (weather permitting). These numbers are on the low side and hope they can be greater than that.
We also hope to see our programs flourish. Our youth camps are the most important. We would like to see 100 kids join the First Tee Program. Also our Therapeutic Events need to grow each time with more and more participants.
Employee Goals
TPC Harry Moose sets high standards for our employees. We have set strict attendance policy which helps our employees to be disciplined. Our Employees could not ask for a better job. They get to spend their day at a golf course and receive perks such as free golf and discounts on merchandise and equipment. Because of that though, they are expected to be friendly with guests and members.
Maintenance Goals
Our goal is to make sure the club house is always clean, carts are always running and the course is in playable shape. This will take the effort of everyone, but will be greatly appreciated by patrons.
Risk Management and Safety Goals
A comprehensive emergency action plan has been created to guide guests and employees to safety in the case of weather emergencies. A risk management assessment will be completed quarterly. We also will have all accident and incident reports on file for 2 years. Our employees will also be certified in CPR and AED.
Environmental Goals
TPC Harry Moose has developed many different programs to promote sustainability in our facility. We are going to accomplish a Gold Level of Certification for contruction and a Platinum Level of Certification for Operation of our facility.
Accessibility/Inclusion Goals
We have set up programs to help those with disabilities enjoy the game of golf. There are also equipment options for those who have special needs. The game of golf should be played by all no matter what situation they are in.
Evaluation Goals
Twice a year we will send out surveys to our members to see if there is anything we can change about the TPC Harry Moose. There also will be a part of our scorecard that people can leave us comments or suggestions on.
Employees will evaluate each other Quarterly. They will also be evaluated by the supervisors.
